One of the most compelling historical sites, travel back in time and retrace the footsteps of everyone from Roman generals to nomads. Traipse past Roman theatres, markets, and temples – you’ll feel like Indian Jones himself!

  • Day 1 Amman

    You’ll be met at the airport and transferred about 45 minutes to your first night’s hotel accommodation in Amman.

  • Day 2 Petra

    Get a good night’s sleep as breakfast is served at 6.30am. You’ll barely feel it though as you’re off to one of the world’s greatest wonders – Petra! Your guide will be waiting at the entrance of this magnificent ancient city. Hop on a horse before entering the gate where you’ll take in the sights until you get to Al Siq, a mile long gorge that leads into the city of Petra. Travel through and, near the end, take a left – you’ll be greeted by the glorious brightness of Petra’s most impressive monument, the Treasury (say Al Khaznah to impress your guide!), a face carved in the rock mountain. After taking some time to look at it (and taking many, many pictures) you’ll continue on to view hundreds of structures, including temples, royal tombs, a carved Roman theatre which seats 3,000 people, and burials chambers, to name a few! After exploring every nook and cranny, your transfer will be waiting to take you (and your tired feet) back to Amman for your overnight stay.

  • Day 3 Amman

    Tuck into breakfast (so you won’t have to contend with bad airplane food) and be transferred to the airport – it’s home time!
