It’s tough to cover all of Australia in a single trip, but believe us, we’ve tried. This three-week extravaganza incorporates all the absolute must-do bits of Australia into one legendary adventure. From the bustling cities dotting the coast to Australia’s wine country, from the outback and iconic Uluru to the beach, the Great Barrier Reef and even the legendary dreamtime itself, you’ll leave no stone unturned on this trip. We’ll connect the dots with internal flights and historic train journeys to keep you cozy and unstressed throughout.
  • Day 1 Sydney

    Arrive in Sydney at any time. There are no planned activities during the day, so check into the hotel and explore the city. Please try to arrive before 6pm for an important group welcome meeting where you can meet the Chief Experience Officer (CEO) and the other group members. If you arrive early enough, you’ll have time to head into the city to visit the Botanical Gardens or the famous Opera House.

  • Day 2 Sydney (1B,1L)

    Today we explore Sydney with a walk along the harbour to the iconic Sydney Opera House and into the Rocks area. We’ll have an early lunch before boarding a sleek former Americas Cup racing yacht for a 2 ½ hour sail on one of the world’s finest harbours. Meet in the early evening for an optional drink or dinner. We may head beachside to Bondi where there are plenty of excellent dining options.

  • Day 3-4 Byron Bay (2B,1L)

    We meet mid-morning to catch our flight to the North Coast of New South Wales. Arrive early evening into beautiful Byron Bay. On the way to our hotel we’ll stop for a walk to the Cape Byron lighthouse located at the most easterly point of the Australian continent. You have the evening at your leisure. Talk to your CEO today about some optional activity options for tomorrow so they can make arrangements for you. Start Day 4 early to enjoy a yoga class to refresh your mind before meeting a local surfer for a surf lesson. We use soft big boards that provide more surface area and stability so everyone has a chance to ride a wave. We have lunch at a local vegetarian restaurant to ensure we fully get into the vibe of Byron Bay. The rest of the day is yours to explore – you may like to walk along the long stunning beach, play in the surf, or simply hang out at the beach hotel and people watch. Optional activities in the area include whale watching (seasonal), kayaking, or a day trip to the beach town of Nimbin. Estimated travel time: 1.5 hour flight, then 45 minute transfer to hotel.

  • Day 5 Whitsunday Islands (1L,1D)

    This morning we leave Byron at 7am for Brisbane airport for a morning flight to the capital of Queensland. Upon arrival in Proserpine we’ll transfer to Abel Point Marina in Airlie Beach for a short transfer to Daydream Island, our home for the night. Estimated travel time: 3 hour drive, 1.5 hour fight, 30 min ferry Travel distance: 150 km

  • Day 6 Whitsunday Islands/Airlie Beach (1B)

    We spend this morning relaxing on the island before embarking on a yacht for an afternoon of sailing, snorkelling and swimming around the islands. Enjoy an afternoon aboard the yacht before ending the day in Airlie Beach at our resort hotel for the evening.

  • Day 7 Cairns (1B)

    Embark on a scenic train journey through sugar cane country and rainforest as we head north to Cairns. Arrive early evening and check-in to a centrally-based hotel before exploring the town and opting for a group dinner and drinks. Estimated travel time: 10 hours Travel distance: 600 km

  • Day 8-9 Port Douglas (2B)

    Travel up the stunning coastal road, stop to meet local Aboriginals and go on an interpretive walk, learning about traditional ways of life and survival techniques. Enjoy the unique opportunity to try spearfishing and gain perspective on how difficult it can be. Arrive mid-afternoon in the colourful resort town of Port Douglas. Take time to stroll the main streets, window-shopping on your way. Spend two nights at a local resort. Option to take a Great Barrier Reef snorkelling trip on Day 9.   • Day 10 Cairns/Alice Springs (1B)

    Travel from Port Douglas to Cairns Airport for a flight to Alice Springs. The flight takes around 2 hours, giving a free afternoon upon arrival to explore. Spend the night in a centrally-located hotel in Alice Springs. Located half way between Adelaide and Darwin, Alice Springs is the center base for all trips through the Red Centre. Estimated travel time: 1 hour drive, 2 hour flight Travel distance: 70 km drive

  • Day 11-12 Uluru (2B,2L)

    Early morning departure to drive to Kings Canyon. Enjoy the incredible canyon with a short walk up Kings Creek before heading to Uluru for the night. On the morning of Day 12 awake before sunrise to watch the colours change over Uluru. An interpretive walk around the base of Uluru gives explanation about its significance to local people. Visit the cultural centre to get a better understanding of the area and learn about local beliefs and traditions through artistic impression. The afternoon is at your leisure.   • Day 13 Coober Pedy (1B,1L,1D)

    We depart Uluru early driving through the Northern Territory outback to The South Australian town of Coober Pedy, Australia’s Opal Capital. The town is extremely unique as many locals live underground to beat the heat. Estimated travel time: 8 hours Travel distance: 724 km

  • Day 14-15 Port Augusta (2B,1L,1D)

    This morning we explore Coober Pedy, visiting a local mine – go fossicking, then we head south to the harbourside town of Port Augusta. On Day 15, we drive north to go hiking in The Flinders Ranges National Park, taking in the amazing scenery and the natural amphitheatre that is Wilpena Pound. Return to Port Augusta for the evening. Travel on Day 14: Estimated travel time: 8 hours (including stops and activities) Travel distance: 550 km

  • Day 16-17 Adelaide (2B,1L,1D)

    Today we head south to Adelaide, travelling through the Claire Valley wine area stopping for lunch and wine tasting along the way. After the Clare it’s an easy drive to Adelaide. The city offers plenty to do, opt to visit the Aboriginal Cultures Gallery at the South Australian Museum, home to the largest collection of artifacts in the Southern Hemisphere. Why not choose to hire a bike? Adelaide is very flat and cyclist-friendly. Another option is catching the tram to the oceanside suburb of Glenelg for lunch or walking down Rundle St Mall in the Adelaide CBD. Travel on Day 16: Estimated travel time: 8-9 hours (including stops and wine tasting/lunch) Travel distance: 372 km

  • Day 18 Grampians National Park (1B,1D)

    Early start to travel to the Grampians National Park, known for its abundant wildlife. There is plenty of bird watching to be done in the area and it’s not uncommon to see kangaroos. We stop at McKenzie Falls and the balconies to enjoy a spectacular walk before arriving at our accommodation that evening. Estimated travel time: 6 hours Travel distance: 500 km

  • Day 19 Great Ocean Road/Warrnambool (1B,1L,1D)

    In the morning we visit an Aboriginal cultural centre. Receive a talk on indigenous culture in the area, giving you a perspective on how it might vary from other regions. Head to the Great Ocean Road to the seaside town Warrnambool for the night. Estimated travel time: 5 hours Travel distance: 350 km

  • Day 20 Great Ocean Road/Melbourne (1B,1L)

    Travel past some of the world’s most famous surf beaches along the Great Ocean Road. Enjoy views of the Twelve Apostles and a rainforest walk in Great Otway National Park. Continue to the capital of Victoria for dinner and night on the town. Estimated travel time: 5 hours Travel distance: 350 km

  • Day 21 Melbourne (1B)
