If you want comfort and style in an exclusive and secluded location, Belize should be at the top of your list. It’s a tropical paradise here, and we’ll immerse you as deeply as possible in everything you can fit into this ten-day trip. Imagine all the beach getaways and suntanning opportunities you could want, but with added authentic experiences like exploration of Mayan ruins, a visit to a hot-sauce factory, and excursions to small local villages to get up-close-and-personal with island life. Once you’ve lazed about in San Ignacio or gone for a dip in Caye Caulker, you’ll never want to go home.

  • Day 1 Belize City/Burrell Boom

    Today is arrival day so there are no activities planned. You are free to arrive at any time to the Belize City airport where you will be met and transferred to our hotel near Burrell Boom Village, which is approx. 30 minutes from the airport.

    Additional Notes:
    The heat and humidity of Belize may affect you upon arrival. You may have a general sense of lethargy and/or loss of appetite. This is no cause for alarm, it is simply your body’s reaction to the heat. Be sure to drink plenty of water (cold bottled water is available everywhere) and do not attempt too much in any given day.

  • Day 2 Burrell Boom (1B, 1L)

    Enjoy a full day excursion to the Lamanai Ruins, a renowned Mayan ceremonial site consisting of over 800 structures surrounded by lush jungle. Return to our jungle lodge to relax at the patio bar and pool, visit the spa, or walk the grounds enjoying the local wildlife.

  • Day 3 Burrell Boom/San Ignacio (1B)

    The town of San Ignacio is situated on the banks of the Macal River. It is a perfect location to visit the surrounding countryside. All activities here are optional, so the choice is yours: explore the Mayan cave of Actun Tunichil Muknal, containing relics dating back 1400 years, visit the butterfly gardens, or go tubing or canoeing through the natural limestone caves of the region.

  • Days 4-5 San Ignacio

    Enjoy 2 free days to visit the sites of the surrounding countryside with options including: full day excursion to Guatemala to visit Tikal, explore the Mayan cave of Actun Tunichil Muknal or ruins of Xunantunich, visit the butterfly gardens or go tubing or canoeing through the natural limestone caves of the region.

  • Day 6 San Ignacio/Hopkins (1B)

    This is your chance to visit a part of Belize that has not yet hit the well-trodden tourist trail. Opt to rent a bike to explore the area or enjoy talking to the locals in what some call the friendliest village in Belize.

    In the evenings, you might be lucky enough to search out some Garifuna drumming somewhere out and about in town.

  • Day 7 Hopkins/Caye Caulker (1B)

    Catch the ferry to Caye Caulker, a true tropical paradise.

  • Day 8 Caye Caulker (1B)

    The barrier reef off Caye Caulker is a true wonder of nature. Optional snorkel trips get you up close and personal with nurse sharks and rays, to name a few of the wondrous resident creatures.

  • Day 9 Caye Caulker (1B, 1D)

    Enjoy the day at your leisure. In the evening, enjoy a fun farewell dinner at a popular local restaurant.

  • Day 10 Caye Caulker (1B)

    Depart at any time.

    Additional Notes:
    This trip finishes on Caye Caulker, which is located 1 hr by water taxi from Belize city (an additional 30 min by taxi to the airport). There are frequent ferry departures between 7:30am and 5pm. If you are flying home on day 10 of the trip, please ensure your flight departure is no earlier than 11:30AM. You can purchase your return ferry ticket easily once you get to Caye Caulker.
