Nearby beautiful Katoomba is the fascinating Three Sisters rock formation, one of the Blue Mountains’ most incredible landmark, an unusual rock formation representing three sisters who were turned to stone according to Aboriginal legend. Next, ride the world’s steepest inclined railway to the floor of the canyon and walk around a lush rainforest. Fit in a visit to an Aboriginal site to learn about rock engravings then head back to your hostel – you’ll be ready to sleep.
