Day 1: Prague to Kutna Hora to Olomouc Today you’ll learn that the Czech Republic is a treasure trove of hidden wonders.  Our first stop is UNESCO listed Kutna Hora, home to a unique church that has an interior decorated by thousands of bones. Next is the Movarian captial, Olomouc. This city has the  potential to  become a tourist hotspot.  It has the perfect recipe; cheap prices, buzzing nightlife, an ancient university, and plenty of stunning architecture.
Day 2: Olomouc to Auschwitz to Krakow “On the way to Krakow we stop at Auschwitz. This stop was the setting for some of the most horrific crimes against humanity. We have a guided tour of the camps, and give you plenty of time to explore and contemplate. Our next destination is Krakow. This night is a good one; you get an optional pub crawl before heading  to one of the best club scenes in the east.
Day 3: Krakow Visit the city of Schindler’s List and the beauty of Krakow with its castle district, Jewish quarter, its bustling markets and the historic old town. With so much to do in Krakow, why not join our optional bike tour in the morning to cover the city in full, then chill out in the afternoon or join the Salt Mines trip. Krakow has an amazing feel on a Sunday, especially chilling in the Kazimierz district at one of many quirky cafes listening to live music.
Day 4: Krakow to Zakopane After breakfast we then drive to the stunning Tatra Mountains for some alpine revelry in Zakopane. It’s only a two hour drive into the eastern Alps. Hike to the top of Eastern Europe, or just kick back in the village experiencing all the sights. You will certainly get a kick out of the homes that were built with one tree! In the evening we like to immerse you in the culture of Zakopane at one of the many traditional taverns, feasting on the locally procured produce.
    Day 5: Zakopane to Budapest
The destination today is Budapest. On the way you can take a tank ride in the Slovakian mountains! We arrive at Budapest in the afternoon so you get a chance to  familiarise yourself with the town before properly experiencing the party capital. This evening there will be the option of a traditional Hungarian meal and a night cruise on the Danube. After this its time to hit some of the unique Budapest “ruin” bars.
Day 6: Budapest Your Budapest extravaganza continues with an optional walking tour, starting from your hostel and ending up in the Buda Castle district. Enjoy a free day in buzzing Budapest. Maybe an evening thermal bath or a spot of good retail therapy along the many, Paris styled boulevards of this fascinating city. Our Guide will set you up with all the best info to make the most of your free day. Many like to kick back here in the local food markets or hire a bike armed with a picnic and head out to Margret island. It’s a top city, one of the true highlights of your trip.
Day 7: Budapest to Plitvice We leave Budapest and head south to the Plitvice National park. It’s a stunning journey, and on the way we go for a swim in the largest lake in Central Europe, Lake Balaton. After this, we visit the Balkan Open Air War Museum; this exhibition is highly engaging and delivers an emotional appraisal of the Balkan War of the early 90s. Next, it’s on to our final stop of the day, the indisputably marvellous UNESCO listed Plitvice National Park. Your accommodation is in the park so you really get to breathe in the natural splendour of the Balkans. It should come as no surprise that we have a barbeque this evening!
