  • Day 1 Fraser Island

There’s no time wasted on this tour – your tour starts as soon as you arrive on Fraser Island. First stop? The beautiful Basin Lake to get up close and personal with its cute freshwater turtles. Then it’s on to Central Station, not to be mistaken for a train station. This ancient rainforest was once a bustling logging camp! A walk along the banks of Wanggoolba Creek and its rare king ferns competes with the views you find at Pile Valley, a rich sub-tropical forest with towering red satinay trees. Finish off the day with a refreshing swim at the picture perfect Lake McKenzie before heading back to Kingfisher Bay for the evening.

  • Day 2 Fraser Island

Make the most of your last day and get up early to explore Seventy-Five Mile Beach, one of the world’s most amazing beach highways! Today is a day for seeing the part of the island that most tourists miss. Float down fast-flowing freshwater Eli Creek, get in a pirate state of mind at the Maheno Shipwreck, and see the vibrant Pinnacles Coloured Sands – who couldn’t love rainbow coloured sand cliffs? Stretch your legs and hike up Indian Head for spectacular views of the ocean and its resident sharks, rays, and migrating humpback whales before simmering in the Champagne Pools, ocean rock pools that are Jacuzzi’s perfect stand-ins. Return to Kingfisher Bay Resort and tuck into a delicious dinner before departing to Hervey Bay. Please note there is also an option for a three day, two night tour.
