Day 1 Rio de Janeiro / Ilha Grande
Our van will come and pick you up at your accommodation in Rio de Janeiro between 10.30 and 11.30am, depending on where we have to pick you up from. From Rio we take you to Conceição de Jacarei, where our own boat will be waiting for you to take you to Ilha Grande. You will arrive on the island around 3pm. You will be dropped off at the pier next to Aquario hostel, a 5 minute walk from the town Abraão.
Please note that there are no banks, cash machines, or money exchange offices on Ilha Grande. Make sure you have enough cash before you get on the transfer because it is not possible for the driver to stop at one on -
Day 2 Lopez Mendez
Today you will take a boat tour to Lopes Mendes beach, considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. It is a 3 km (1.8mi.) long beach of white sand, clear water with waves and wild nature, all part of an environmental protected area. The tour starts at the Abraão Pier where you will take the boat for a 50 min ride until the Pouso pier. From there, start an easy walk (30 minutes) through the Atlantic forest until you reach Lopes Mendes beach. After 3 hours of snorkeling, swimming and relaxing on Lopes Mendes, you will return to the Pouso pier to take the boat back to Vila do Abrão.

Day 3 Ilha Grande / Paraty
Today you will depart the island by boat, leaving from the pier next to the Aquario Hostel around 1pm. You should arrive at your accommodation in Paraty around 4.30pm. Enjoy a late afternoon of exploration through Paraty’s well-preserved historic center, marveling at its colonial architecture and wandering through its quiet cobblestone streets. Experience one of the lively city center sidewalk cafes and party til the sun comes.

Day 4 Paraty
Paraty has 65 islands and hundreds of beaches of rare beauty surrounded by lush vegetation, making it ideal for cruises and for snorkelling. You will be picked up at 10am this morning and taken to the schooner. The tour includes four stops on two beaches and two islands, of about 40 minutes each stop. On one of them, you can choose the optional lunch (a la carte) aboard. During each of these stops you can dive or snorkel in the clear waters of the bay. The highlight of the tour is ‘Ilha Comprida’, which resembles a natural aquarium by the amount of fish that can be seen. All schooners offer comfort and safety, in addition to having a good restaurant with a choice of fish or chicken (meals not included), so your ride becomes more enjoyable.

Day 5 Paraty / Rio de Janeiro
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Paraty between 11.30am and 12.00 for your return trip to Rio, arriving there between 5pm and 5.30pm depending on where we have to drop you off.
