  • Day 1 Kampala / Uganda Equator / Kabale

    Depart from Kampala early in the morning after breakfast and drive southwest, stopping off at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers – it’ll be fascinating to see ceremonial drums being crafted right before your eyes! You’ll make a pit stop at the Uganda Equator for an amazing photo-op so put your best clicking finger forward. Drive through savannah grasslands, banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle on the way into Kigezi Highlands. Known as the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ its mountain scenery is as beautiful as you’d imagine. You’ll arrive at Lake Bunyonyi, Kabala for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Day 2 Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    Enjoy swimming, bird watching or island hopping in the morning. After lunch we depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park derives its name from its thick vegetation with an immense variety of evergreen trees, festooned with lianas, epiphytes, which reach great heights in their search for sunlight plus half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas.

  • Day 3 Bwindi / Gorillas
