Auckland – The largest city in New Zealand, Auckland is the best place for travelers looking for shopping, sports and sun. Start your day walking down Queen Street, popping in the shops and restaurants along the way, before heading to Eden Park for a rugby or cricket game. Top off the day by watching sunset on a yatch – they don’t call Auckland the “City of Sails” for nothing!

Wellington – This capital city is known for providing residents with some of the best quality of living – having the most cafes per capital will do that! If culture is more your scene, head to Te Papa, the national museum of New Zealand, or Colonial Cottage, the oldest building in Wellington. After you get your culture on, take the cable car up to Kelburn for an incredible panorama view of Wellington.

Christchurch – The big city of the South Island, Christchurch is a great escape for those wanting a mix if city and country. Known as the “Garden City”, there are plenty of public parks, botanical gardens and rivers to make you think you are not in an urban area. Enjoy a picnic at Hagley Park and rent a punt (boat) to go up the Avon before heading to the city center to listen to live music.

Queenstown -This resort town is the place to visit if relaxing, with a dash of adventure, is on your travel to do list. Head up the mountain for incredible downhill skiing, cross country skiing and snowboarding. If you’re more into relaxing, head to a vineyard and sample the local pino noir before starting a Lord of the Rings marathon – they were filmed here!

New Zealand is the supreme destination for any type of traveler and we can’t get enough of New Zealand cities!
