Tour style – Wildlife & Nature

2 days

No trip to Australia is complete without a visit to Uluru and Kata Tjuta! Fly directly into and out of Ayers Rock and absorb this fascinating area. Walk around the base of the Rock, and even get a chance to climb it, and watch as the sunset and sunrises transforms its terracotta colours. Traipse through the dramatic Valley of the Winds and be taken away by your surroundings. Two and a half days, two incredible natural sites – no muss, no fuss.
  • Day 1 Uluru

It all begins with an interpretative walk around the base of the Rock. You can climb here but keep in mind that once at Uluru, it’s a sacred site and you’re asked not to. Fit in a visit to the Cultural Centre before taking in the sight of Uluru at sunset. You’ll spend the evening eating dinner by the campfire and star gazing – it puts all your previous camping sites to shame!

  • Day 2 Uluru / Kata Tjuta

After catching the sunrise, grab some breakfast (you’re going to need the energy!) as it’s off to Kata Tjuta for a 7km hike through the magnificent Valley of the Winds. Savour the spectacular natural landscapes surrounding you as after lunch (keep some cash handy) you’ll return to your resort of the airport – your Red Centre experience has come to an end.
