Traipse pass royal palaces, ancient temples, rice fields and busy floating markets set off by a backdrop of stunningly lush scenery. Add that to two days on Sihanoukville’s stunning beaches and tiny islands and you’ll leave entirely charmed by the Land of Smiles (and will, in fact, leave with a big smile of your own)!
  • Day 1 Bangkok

Arrive into Bangkok at any time and make your way to your accommodation for the night. Come early and you can discover everything this hectic capital has to offer – dine on delicious local food, wander around bustling markets, and explore gold-spired Buddhist temples.

  • Day 2-3 Poi Pet / Siem Reap

Be ready for a 6.30am bus pick up from your hotel – you’re off on a public bus to the Cambodian border, with a stop off at Poi Pet for visa formalities. You’ll reach Siem Reap by late afternoon – settle in and head out on the town to see the sights. Day 3 is all about sightseeing around town – Angkor temple, Cambodia’s eighth wonder of the world, is always a favourite!

  • Day 4-5 Phnom Penh

It’s time for a rather long six hour bus trip to Phnom Penh but the amazing scenery passing you by will be distraction enough. Once in the city, take part in a walking tour in the afternoon to stretch your legs and get your bearings – you’ll stroll pass the likes of the royal palace, temples and countless stalls and markets. Just watch out for the motorbikes that whiz past! And don’t worry about fitting all the sights into one day – you’ve got two!

  • Day 6-7 Sihanoukville / Phnom Penh

Be ready to head to the bus station by 7.45 – you’re heading to Cambodia’s southern coastal city of Sihanoukville today! After your journey, you’ll have the treat of spending two days in one of the country’s major beach resort towns – there’s beautiful beaches, tiny islands and fantastic seafood. What more could you want? Make the most of it as on Day 7 you’re back at the bus station at 2.30pm and driving back to Phnom Penh.

  • Day 8-9 Chau Doc / Ho Chi Minh City

Today you’ll take to the seas for a six hour boat journey, crossing the Vietnamese border into Chau Doc where you’ll spend the night. After breakfast on Day 9, catch a private transfer bound for Ho Chi Minh City. Cross the Mekong Delta, surrounded by a rich green river world of orchards and rice fields, floating markets and cottage industries – have your camera at the ready. Once in Ho Chi Minh City, check into your hotel and venture out into the city – a mix of ancient pagodas, teeming markets and skyscrapers and designer malls, it’s a feast for the eyes! On Day 10, the tour sadly draws to a close.
