  • Day 1 San Francisco

    Arrive to our joining hotel any time. Welcome meeting in the evening.

  • Day 2 San Francisco/Yosemite NP (L,D)

    Guided Tour of one of the greatest cities in the world: San Francisco! Discover some of the most iconic attractions such as bustling Fisherman’s Wharf or the stately Golden Gate Bridge. Take short hikes to majestic waterfalls, clear lakes, beautiful meadows or walk amongst giant sequoias in Yosemite National Park. With a keen eye, you may be lucky enough to spot black bears, deer or coyotes. Option to rent bikes in Yosemite Valley. Approximate Distance: 225 km Estimated Travel Time: 3 hrs

  • Day 3 Yosemite NP/Bishop (B,L,D)

    Marvel at the spectacular views of Yosemite National Park’s magnificent peaks and granite domes as you enjoy one of most scenic areas in California. Surrounded by peaks which soar to over 14,000 feet in elevation, Bishop, one of “America’s Coolest Mountain Towns” sits directly in the center of an incredible area of natural beauty. Enjoy secluded hot springs where star gazing is amazing. Note that we intend on using the Tioga Pass, a scenic a route through the Sierra Nevada mountain range that connects Yosemite NP with Bishop. In the spring and autumn seasons, there’s a chance that the pass will be closed due to poor weather conditions or even snow. In such a case, we use an alternate route south, and will spend the night in Lake Isabella instead of Bishop. The status of the road is monitored daily, and our travel plan for the area will be confirmed during the trip. Approximate Distance: 305 km Estimated Travel Time: 4 hrs

  • Day 4 Death Valley NP/Las Vegas (B,L)

    Visit one of the country’s most rugged landscapes, the legendary Death Valley, the hottest and driest spot and home to the lowest point in North America. Explore the city of lights, Las Vegas with a guided tour along the famous “Vegas Strip”. Optional VIP limo experience in Vegas. For our night in Las Vegas, we stay close to the action in a hotel in the city center. Approximate Distance: 590 km Estimated Travel Time: 7 hrs

  • Day 5 Grand Canyon NP (D)

    Get your kicks on Route 66 and stop at the “Snow Cap-Drive In”, one of the wackiest, off beat burger joints around. Then onto one of the earth’s greatest on-going geological spectacles: the Grand Canyon! Take short hikes at the most spectacular gorge in the world and enjoy a pizza dinner at the rim as you view the stunning sunset. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the Grand Canyon with an optional helicopter flight or experience the world’s best IMAX movie around the world. Approximate Distance: 450 km Estimated Travel Time: 5 hrs

  • Day 6 Lake Havasu (B,L,D)

    In the morning, hike on the rim and take a last look back at one of the seven wonders in the world, the Grand Canyon! Get back on Route 66 to continue our road trip. Discover a piece of London in Lake Havasu City, the London Bridge. At Lake Havasu, cool off and enjoy the crystal clear water of the Colorado River. Approximate Distance: 400 km Estimated Travel Time: 4.5 hrs

  • Day 7 Joshua Tree NP/Los Angeles (B,L)

    Witness some of the world’s natural wonders in Joshua Tree National Park, home to numerous varieties of plants and animals that brave the climatic extremes. Explore the beauty of the desert by taking short hikes among the famous Joshua Trees. In the afternoon see the stars on the most famous sidewalk in Hollywood on a guided city tour. Drive through Beverly Hills and be fascinated by one of the world’s most exclusive three-block district: Rodeo Drive! Discover for yourself why Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach are one of the highlights of Los Angeles! For our night in Los Angeles, we give up camping in favour of a more urban experience in a hotel. Approximate Distance: 500 km Estimated Travel Time: 6.5 hrs
