The ultimate all-Ireland St Patrick’s extravaganza! See Ireland at its best, North and South. The ‘must sees’ like Giant’s Causeway, Cliffs of Moher, Blarney Castle, Belfast and Galway are all in there but we also hit Dublin for the main event. What better place to party than the capital city of the country that gave the world St Patrick! Serious festival fun, Irish style! One island, one trip, a once in a lifetime experience.
  • Itinerary

    Day 1: Dublin to Ballintoy Departs 10.30am. From Dublin we head straight to ‘The North’ and Belfast. Take a Black Cab tour with a local cabbie into the Loyalist and Republican heartlands to learn about the ‘Troubles’ and see the infamous political murals. Heading towards the stunning Antrim coast we take in the ‘Dark Hedges’ before having the opportunity to cross the Atlantic over Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge.
    Day 2: Ballintoy to Dublin Follow in the footsteps of Giants at the eighth natural wonder of the world, The Giant’s Causeway. With its thousands of hexagonal stone columns, you make up your mind what caused it, a giant or geology? We cross the border and return to the Republic and  head back to Dublin.
    Day 3: Dublin Our local Guide will show you the highlights of Dublin on a Shamrocker Adventures orientation walking tour. Then we include Fast Track entry to the Guinness Storehouse to discover all there is to know about ‘the black stuff’. The city will be gearing up for the St Pat’s Day madness and you’ll have time to explore and enjoy the music and dancing at the festival events. In the evening, we’ll take you to some of Dublin’s best pubs that only us locals know about to ensure you’re ready for the party!
    Day 4: St. Patrick’s Day! St. Patrick’s Day! Today is the day you’ve been waiting for. Dress up in Green and grab your spot early as the streets of Dublin fill fast to enjoy the official parade. We’re based in the heart of the action, Temple Bar so get ready to have your senses bombarded with colour, music and dancing! Squeeze into a nearby pub or a live music session or join the dancing on the streets. This is St. Patrick’s Day done by the Irish on their native soil… expect a wild one!
    Day 5: Dublin to Killarney We leave the city and head south west into the lush green Irish countryside to clear fuzzy heads. Pass the River Liffey on the way to the imposing Rock of Cashel, once the seat of the Kings of Munster. Through the Golden Vale to Blarney Castle in the rebel county of Cork. Now’s your chance to give the stone a big juicy smacker to get the legendary ‘gift of the gab’. If you’re still ready for more, we overnight in the party town of Killarney.
    Day 6: Killarney to Ennis Today it’s all about breathtaking scenery and adventure. We spend the day exploring the dramatic Dingle Peninsula and we take you to the edge of the ancient world. We stop at the stunning Coumeennole Beach then on through Tralee into County Clare. We spend the night in Ennis where the pubs are filled with locals playing traditional Irish music.
    Day 7: Ennis to Dublin Today we brave the heights and soak up the dramatic views at the Cliffs of Moher that tower high above the wild Atlantic Ocean. Afterwards, we’ll explore the weird and magical world of the Burren, Ireland’s lunar landscape and home to fairies and leprechauns! We visit Galway, Ireland’s cultural capital and festival city before returning to Dublin approximately 5.30pm.
