Visit the old city of Stone Town and get to know its colourful history before heading for some R&R on the gorgeous white-sand beaches and turquoise waters of Nungwi Beach.   • Day 1 Stone Town

    Stone Town has an intriguing maze of narrow, cobbled lanes hemmed in by Arabic buildings. Get out and explore!

    Zanzibar is a Muslim society. Immodestly dressed women or men in shorts will get harassed and cause great offense in Stone Town. In Nungwi, customs are a little more relaxed, but our travellers are encouraged to be respectful of the island’s culture and still cover up when walking around. Never try to take a photograph without asking permission.

  • Day 2 Stone Town/Nungwi (1B)

    Enjoy an orientation walk around historic Stone Town, then transfer to the white-sand beaches and turquoise waters of beautiful Nungwi Beach.

  • Day 3 Nungwi (1B)

    Enjoy free time to lounge on the beach, snorkel, scuba dive or tour the island.

  • Day 4 Nungwi/Stone Town (1B)

    Morning group transfer from Nungwi. Depart Stone Town any time after 11:30am.
